Ceramic Animal are sounding better than ever on the early singles from upcoming record Sweet Unknown, this one produced by Dan Auerbach with notable precision. Blues rock, alt country, and indie rock influences blend in Ceramic Animal’s balance of lush and grit, going from heartbreaking to ramblin’ track to track. Featuring Ceramic Animal crooning acoustic balladry on the title track, friendly country power-pop in “Up In Smoke”, and the psych-pop groove of most recent single “Tangled”, Sweet Unknown is setup to not only be a beautiful record, but also one showing the range Ceramic Animal has developed since debuting six years ago.
