While Peach Luffe offers sweet harmonies and nostalgic pop influences, the Canadian artist keeps things weird enough to not be mistaken for a throwback revue. Part chillwave and part pastoral and cinematic, Peach Luffe has a mild vibe and is comfortable in its reverential tone. While the solo project was formed just in 2019, there’s a wealth of tracks already available, four EPs leading up to the release of last year’s spacious full-length Everything Is Peachy. He’s already followed that up with recent single “Ocean”, a pretty and appropriately drifting number that puts his crisp, pop songwriting forward within a perpetual sway. (Kevin McStravick)
