Breezy pop and jangly indie rock intermingle in Oracle Sisters’ music, a psychedelic and catchy groove that rides through the French trio’s early catalog. A couple EPs and a handfuls of singles in, Oracle Sisters just announced their debut full-length Hydranism with lead single “Tramp Like You” a nice evolution of the band’s dreamy, cinematic sound. Notably nostalgic, 60s and 70s pop is a guidepost for Oracle Sisters and they handle it with care, gentle yet still born from the school of rock and roll. It’s grand but not necessarily big, tender but not folk, a naturally comfortable place that they’ve really have come to master leading into the release of Hydranism. (Kevin McStravick)
