Sweet Spirit released their latest record Trinidad in 2020, an album that well represents the Austin band’s full, building sound in melodramatic fashion. Sweet Spirit pull influence from 80s pop, 90s R&B, and intimate bedroom rock of today, balancing fun and vulnerability across the consistently grooving record. While sounding their most committed on Trinidad, Sweet Spirit are also expressing their most joy, embracing big melodies to compliment the otherwise lo-fi nature of each team’s learnings.

2020 Review: Austin’s Sweet Spirit announced their upcoming third full-length this month with “Behold”, a building, harmonic anthem mired in both alt-rock and indie-pop influences, one of the biggest, yet dreamiest, numbers in the band’s catalog.
