Chilean dream-pop/shoegaze rock band Hausi Kuta specialize in full, psychedelic synth jams propelled forward by patient, post-rock builds on their 2018 sophomore record Bestiario. Adventurous and groove-oriented, there are multiple interesting sonic directions at any given moment, from the lonely capturing of “Nerón” to the industrial groove of highlight “Yrit”. There’s a haunting quality to the electronic ghosts within Hausi Kuta’s music, aided by grey, alt-rock and new-wave modes to keep their train slowly moving down the tracks. (Kevin McStravick)
