Jadu Heart loosely base their sound around electronic pop forms, but the UK duo are better described as fusion artists judging from the diversity track-to-track presented on their debut full-length Melt Away. Opener “The Cure” mixes ambience, trip hop, and Eastern melodies, followed by the dreamy comfort of “Forgotten Ghosts” and R&B groover “I’m a Kid”. Jadu Heart is still consistent in their psychedelic pop accessibility while genre hopping, keeping dynamics top of mind throughout the lush, interesting record. (Kevin McStravick)
