Mexican indie rock band Little Jesus form a mildly dreamy, full sound on their latest record Disco de Oro, a ranging album that maintains a warm, sweetly breezy sound over eleven tracks. Adding melancholic tones to Latin rock sands down their music nicely, moving what could be prog-like movement and instead washing sounds together in a consistently comforting way. While entering into chillwave territory at times, Little Jesus is a noticeably tight band (their drummer really stands out throughout Disco do Oro), providing depth and intention to an otherwise hazy soundscape.
