Dreamy, atmospheric synth pop duo Los Wálters strike refreshing, chillwave chords across a series of 2019 singles following their last EP Caramelo. 80s soft-pop reflections give Los Wálters an air of breezy, light Latin rock vibes on tracks like “Desastre Comunal” and slightly more tense “Ave María”, paced mostly in cooled, mid-tempo electronic percussion. Coming from NYC by way of Puerto Rico, Los Wálters maintain a surprisingly organic sound given all of their music is created electronically and is perfect for a lounge-ready, otherworldly cool-off.
