Bright and full indie rock with hints of garage rock crunch, Marsicans have spent the past five-plus years honing what is now an ultra-tight, hooky sound. The UK quartet has been releasing a few singles a year that all improve upon what came before, peaking with bouncy, proggy pop-rock number “Your Eyes” and “Little Things”, one of their most guitar-driven tracks full of triumphant riffs and melodies. Marsicans just signed with Killing Moon this week including a debut album already lined up for this year, so keep your ear out for these potential breakouts through SXSW 2020. (Kevin McStravick)
