There’s an undeniably cool vibe to Rosie Lowe’s tracks and she knows it. She sings with a jazzy, gravelly croon over dynamic electronic, soulful, hip hop production on her 2019 sophomore album Yu. The album presents a diverse group of tracks and perfectly paired collaborators from Jay Electronica, to Jamie Woon, Kwabs, and Jordan Rakei. On The Way Rosie’s vocals sparkle with slow burning intensity over a snapping backing track, and Jay Electronica’s killer verse is a perfect closing to the enchanting track. Every little element on the album is purposeful creating a compelling mix of tracks showing Rosie is one of the most captivating pop singers growing with each release. (Nate Headden)

2015 Review: London based singer Rosie Lowe’s tracks ooze cool, the hypnotic production paired with her sensual vocal tone make her tracks slow burning electro R&B burners. Her songs have a perfect balance of innovative delivery and arresting vocals. Lowe recently released a pair of catchy singles as a follow up to her fantastic 2013 EP Right Thing. Rosie Lowe is another likely breakout artist playing this year’s SXSW.
