Kevin McStravick is the founder, editor, and chief contributor of Operation Every Band. A fan first and tastemaker second, Kevin is committed to finding your next favorite band by scouring the SXSW roster every year. He has been running OEB for a decade and has been a featured panelist at SXSW.

Nate Headden has been a long-time writer and photographer for Operation Every Band. He geeks out over hip hop lyricists, he’s a sucker for sad songs, and he’s a Pop and R&B fanatic.  A decade in, and he’s still in awe of all the creativity the amazing artists that play SXSW every year share through their art. SXSW has provided a wealth of memories like that one time he got to meet Bingo Bronson from Broad City.

David Zlotnick (writer) will be attending his 9th SXSW this year, and his third year of writing for OEB. By day, he is a lawyer & professor in Washington, DC. His fledgling project is Bug-in-a-Bottle Productions, a band management dream. Bug-in-a-Bottle has just one client, a band founded by a former inmate who David helped get released from a life sentence for a non-violent drug offense. That band has not yet made it to Southbye but hopefully someday soon. Until then, David has no conflict of interests to report.
