The rare jamband taking a swing through SXSW, TAUK will try to fit their spacey, instrumental grooves into a condensed set this year in Austin. Funk, jazz, and psych rock drive TAUK’s full sound, moving from playful, open melodies to heavy riffage on their latest record Equalizer. TAUK looks to both entrance and move their listeners, able to find opportunities to go off while still keep deep grooves on lock. Look out for blues-rock soloing, dream-synth patterns, and a tight rhythm section to provide a grounding for TAUK to explore both through their written pieces and improvisational jams.
